Owner/Founder Mandy Cimino

I have cared for all types of animals from my first guinea pig to the menagerie I currently have the pleasure of sharing my life with. I have been a veterinary nurse/technician since I started high school. Throughout my life I have looked after dogs, cats, rabbits and various rodents, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, cows, chickens, geese, monkeys, snakes, and a variety of reptiles and wild animals.

I created All About Animals because I wanted to bring my compassion and nursing skills to pets in their homes where they feel safe and comfortable. I also realize the struggle that is involved when trying to find appropriate pet care for pets while away from home. I was born and raised in beautiful Sonoma County and felt there was no better place to start a mobile pet nursing and pet sitting company.

I got my start early while volunteering at the Sonoma County Animal Shelter (Sonoma County Animal Care and Control) where I would vaccinate and de-worm all of the dogs and many cats. I also was a spay/neuter assistant for the many UC Davis students that came through to get surgical experience. Soon I was elected Volunteer President and shortly thereafter began working at veterinary hospitals. I also started taking veterinary nursing/technician classes and seminars.

After about fifteen years of working in hospital environments, I decided to bring my skills into peoples’ homes where I saw the need arise. I continue to take classes to stay current with veterinary nursing medicine and am also certified in pet first aid and CPR.
